Dear Driver,
When I got started in trucking I worked for small family owned operations that never operated legally. I drove a dry van for years and went on to gain experience hauling flatbed, containers, refrigerated freight, and ultimately tankers. My experience includes local, regional, national and international work.
I found that respect, trust and integrity are important keys to success. Too often I worked for carriers that employed questionable means. With a clear focus on production and not enough on safety, I found that the equipment wasn't properly maintained, drivers were pressured to work and drive beyond legal hours of service, and the pay either wasn't the greatest or unverifiable. I was expected to work long hours away from home, family and loved ones and to trust that my pay would somehow be right.
I couldn't continue to work under such conditions nor should you or anyone else. Business and work should support the family not the other way around.
